Phi Delta Chi Fraternity
The mission of Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity is to develop leaders to advance the profession of pharmacy. Phi Delta Chi, a life-long experience, promotes scholastic, professional and social growth in its brothers. The fraternity strives to provide quality services to its patients, thereby advancing public health and strengthening ourselves as health professionals.
In August 1995, Phi Delta Chi Fraternity adopted St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as its national philanthropic partner at the 60th Grand Council Meeting in Memphis. Phi Delta Chi Collegiate Chapters and Alumni from across the country have raised money and awareness for the hospital in many unique ways..
The mission of Phi Delta Chi goes hand-in-hand with the mission of St. Jude, improving the lives of children through unparalleled medical care and research. In April 2007, Phi Delta Chi's Executive Council agreed to a four-year, $200,000 endowment for the hospital’s Patient Pharmacy. Pharmacy staff members at St. Jude do much more than just prepare the children's medicines. They are actively involved in the day-to-day care of St. Jude patients. This contribution is only made possible by the commitment of more than 55 collegiate chapters and from the support of Phi Delta Chi's National Office.
