Additional Details
Each registered child will receive a bib, participant shirt and finisher medal. Companion adults will receive a bib only. The bib and shirt are required before you can run and are available for pick up at the Health & Wellness Expo at Renasant Convention Center. The Kids’ Fun Run kiosk can be visited at the following days and times:
- Thursday, Dec. 4: noon - 7 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 5: noon - 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 6: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. (Race day pickup at Downtown Fogelman YMCA)
- All participants must pre-register and follow the one adult companion per two children participating requirement.
- Medals will be distributed as each child crosses the finish line.
- Families can choose to fundraise as part of the Kids’ Fun Run.
- Children under the age of five (5) are expected to be in a wagon or stroller for the duration of the event.
- The Kids’ Fun Run route begins at B.B. King Blvd. & Madison Ave. start line and ends at on the Union Ave. finish line with all St. Jude Memphis Marathon participants.
- Only registered participants are allowed in the start corral, on course and in the finisher area.
- The Kids’ Fun Run is an untimed event, and no awards will be given other than the finisher medal.
- Bibs must be worn during the event. Any participants without a bib affixed to the front of their shirt will not be allowed in the start corral or on course.
- Children crossing the finish line without their adult companion will be held in a reunification (waiting) area until the adult companion arrives to accompany their child from the finisher area.
- Upon finishing, Kids’ Fun Run participants will be escorted to the post-run celebration at the Downtown Fogelman YMCA.
