Is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital publicly traded?

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is not publicly traded. We are a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code and are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions.

Founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas and located in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a nonprofit pediatric cancer hospital and research center.

There are a number of organizations that use St. Jude in their names, but there is only one St. Jude Children's Research Hospital dedicated to finding cures and saving the lives of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since we opened more than 50 years ago.
