Meet Yazleemar
In 2012, Yazleemar was diagnosed in Puerto Rico with retinoblastoma, a rare cancer of the retina. Doctors referred Yazleemar to St. Jude, where doctors were able to save Yazleemar’s eye.

Meet Valentina
When she was 3 years old, Valentina was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. She was referred to St. Jude where she received several rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant in 2022.

Meet Hunter
Hunter was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and was immediately referred to St. Jude. Hunter has chosen to face adversity with good humor and determination.

Meet Beckett
Even at 2 years old, Beckett was a very verbal child, able to describe how he felt. Beckett was ultimately diagnosed with ATRT, an agressive form of brain cancer.

Meet Liliana
Liliana is a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she was treated for liver cancer at 8 years old.

Meet Misheel
Misheel was referred to St. Jude, where she received treatment that included chemotherapy and radiation therapy. She found it to be a really special place.

Meet Brayden
In the summer of 2018, after days of an unrelenting headache, Brayden was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. On the day he should have started kindergarten, he underwent brain surgery instead.

Meet Mila
Mila was born three weeks early, when complications led to a C-section delivery. While in the NICU, she was found to have both Down Syndrome and a leukemia precursor.
