Boise Cascade became a National Partner of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Summer of 2024. It began when Boise Cascade was introduced to Carson Elilzabeth, a St. Jude patient who carried resilience and compassion throughout her cancer journey. Right before she passed away at the age of eight, she gave all the money she managed to save up in her piggy bank to St. Jude. In the piggy bank was $128.56. Carson’s act of generosity inspires Boise Cascade to continue her legacy in an honorable way.
Each year in August, Boise Cascade hosts an annual Summer Sale, which is a business-to-business initiative rooted in purpose. For every truckload sold on a specific day during the Summer Sale, Boise Cascade donates $128.56 to St. Jude. Since 2024, Boise Cascade raises funds in honor of Carson Elizabeth and all St. Jude kids, transforming everyday business activity into a heartfelt tribute.
Together, Boise Cascade and its partners have raised $680,257.12 for St. Jude and are on the path to $1 million. Guided by the belief that relationships are core to its business, Boise Cascade invests time, talent, and resources into partnerships that reflect its values and create measurable, lasting impact for the communities where its associates live and work.
Through its support, Boise Cascade is helping to ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
